As students in high school, I'm sure that you would agree with me that sometimes we let the littlest things stress us out. Whether it be too much homework, studying for a big test, or just dealing with such high expectations, we have all been there. However, as a future teacher, there will be a plenty more stresses in which we will have to figure out ways to deal with.
My question is, what are some things that would potentially stress you out as a teacher and how could you deal with or even eliminate those sources of stress?
As a teacher, the most common source of stress I forsee is clashing with the administration. The best way I could eliminate this source of stress is to try and remember what the "guidelines" are as a teacher and that trying to extend these boundaries is generally frowned upon, so I probably shouldn't do that.
ReplyDeleteAs a teacher, parents could potentially stress me out. Although I may want to eliminate them, this is not possible. To help me deal with parents, I could be as polite as possible and communicate with them often by sending out weekly newsletters. This will make parents aware of what is going on in the classroom and it reduce the amount of questions that they need to ask.
